The search returns all agencies containing the agency name or agency code entered, and indicates, in the column "Agency Group", the agency name to use to search spending for the specific agency. You can also click on the “Agency Group” to get a list of all agencies included in that agency group.

In April 2012, New York State implemented a new Statewide Financial System (SFS),
replacing an outdated accounting system with a state-of-the-art financial information
and management system. The Office of the State Comptroller is in the process of converting
Open Book New York to display updated SFS data and to expand the level
and amount of detail available to the public. New data is expected to be available
by the end of the calendar
